We’re all selfish. It’s not uncommon. And, I’d say that wanting your friends safe is pretty heartfelt of you.

…I hope that it wears off soon. I’m not sure how you can put up with walking around on four legs all the time — it gets awfully tiring! Although the nice and frequent naps help a little.
You look miserable in this form. You haven’t warmed up to the changes at all? Besides the naps.
